Featured Project
At their busy restaurant on Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Atlanta, Popeye’s Chicken and Biscuits called on Concrete Masters to create a floor that would look great, withstand heavy foot traffic and reflect the company’s New Orleans-style brand. Project Architect John Dawson specified a concrete floor for its durability, good looks and ease of cleaning.
The existing concrete floor was uneven and covered with old, ugly, broken tiles, as well as dirty, worn carpeting. Concrete Masters removed the worn tiles, carpeting and glue, then completed the job using the following methods:
--Our experienced team ground the concrete floor with a planetary grinder to remove the carpet glue and make the floor level.
--We then installed a toned quarter-inch stampable overlay and imprinted the overlay with a random textured stone pattern.
--Earth-tone stains were then applied to the concrete, along with a colored release agent.
--The floor was sealed with a matte-finish epoxy, which will deliver years of durability and easy maintenance.
